Who contributes to this archive, what we ask of them, and how contributions are reviewed.
Who we look for
- Practitioners with a documented connection to a Polynesian tattooing tradition.
- Cultural contributors with community-recognized standing.
- Researchers with peer-reviewed or otherwise verifiable scholarship.
- Language contributors qualified to review indigenous terminology.
What we ask
- Disclosure of professional and commercial affiliations.
- Willingness to be reviewed by editors and, where applicable, by cultural reviewers.
- Attribution of claims to region, community, and source.
- Original writing that avoids formulaic or generic AI-generated prose.
